Dr. Daman Bhatia is an experienced ENT surgeon with a subspecialty in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery. Raised in the North Shore, he completed his medical training at the University of Newcastle, graduating with distinction. He holds a Master of Public Health, Master of Surgery in Otolaryngology, and a Master of Health Management, along with a Graduate Diploma in Applied Anatomy by Dissection.
Dr. Bhatia is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and has completed an esteemed and competitive international fellowship in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery in Auckland under the guidance of Professor Richard Douglas and Dr. Ray Kim.
He provides compassionate care for both paediatric and adult ENT conditions, with a reputation for being particularly kind and approachable with children. Conditions treated include:
Paediatric conditions: recurrent ear infections, snoring, sleep apnoea, recurrent tonsillitis
Adult conditions: snoring, obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA), recurrent sinusitis (with or without polyps), functional rhinoplasty
Complex sinus and nasal issues: revision sinus surgery, CSF leaks, tumours of the nose and sinuses, nasal obstruction
Dr. Bhatia holds public appointments at Hornsby Hospital and Ryde Hospital. His extensive training and warm, patient-centered approach ensure personalized care for every patient.
