Dr Wignall is a fully qualified and experienced Otolaryngologist Head & Neck Surgeon and a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at ROYAL NORTH SHORE HOSPITAL and within the Local Area Health Network.

He has keen interests and experience in Head & Neck Cancer Surgery, assessment of Snoring and Sleep Apnoea and Head & Neck “lumps & bumps” including Salivary Disorders, along with Voice and Laryngology.

He enjoys working with children and their various individual personalities and has a strong Paediatric and General ENT practice. This includes sinus and nasal obstruction disorders and Ear problems.

Background: Training

Dr Wignall worked for 15 years in General Practice in Launceston Tasmania with interests in Sports Medicine - Regional President of Sports Medicine Australia - and Practice Management, along with a full time general practice.

Dr Wignall proceeded to further training in General Surgery, and then Otolaryngology (ENT), Head & Neck Surgery, with Fellowship with the Australian College of Surgeons – Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery (FRACS).
